Welcome to the Life in the UK preparation site.

To settle in the UK without time limits (‘indefinite leave to remain’) you must pass the Life in the UK test, or pass a long three-part English examination which will take 300 hours learning time. The test is short. It has 24 questions and is done on a computer for up to 45 minutes –– while the English exam needs a year or even more.

This site is only for the Life in the UK TEST. We help you UNDERSTAND the questions in the test, and learn how to ANSWER the test in a series of practice tests.
